This week I focused on finishing an eppie. Here are the stages I went through, for direction, length, density, etc. The only thing left is a little tweaking, and color.

I was surprised how much the length and angle zones came in handy. They allowed me to just paint a basic gradient on the skin, without worrying about the actual length:

After that, I was able to go in with the zones, and specifically lengthen or shorten areas.

Also this week, I've started to test a basic dynamics setup. For next week, I plan on having root/tip width fixed, the color painted, and the dynamics almost finalized.
